Edinburgh (3 nights)

stayed at Brodies Hostel which was good n very comfortable too. except that breakfast n free wi-fi not provided compared to Central Hostel, Riga. haha. here, we didn't pay to join any tour but we discovered a free tour n joined it. it was not bad i would say, very interesting as the tour guide was very knowledgeable n a nice n funny person.

this love shape pathway is not something that is very nice where u can lie down n take photo with. the truth is that this thing, is where ppl spit when they past by. ewwww...

it actually lamb internal organs with oats.
anybody up for it? well, i actually tried it.
to me, it tasted all nice at the beginning but after talking a bit more,
it started to taste weird. haha..

some were even up to 35 yrs old.

UK Holiday (Part 1)

during the winter holidays, went to UK for holiday with a few of my friends. there was quite a number of us going different places in different groups. my group had 6 ppl in total: me, Saac, Valynne, Charmaine, Brandon, Kelvin.

23rd January night, we left Moscow for Riga, Latvia, which is a country located beside Russia. there we are to catch the flight to London. to get to Riga, we took the train which is the cheapest way but it takes 15 hours to reach Riga. together on the train journey, we were with Sharon, Gan, Chia Zhen n Zi Hao as well (but their flights were a different one). on the train, we made a lot of new friends, and even played mafia with one of them.

we reached Riga, Latvia on the 24th and spent a night there. our flight to London was on 25th morning. after checking in at Central Hostel (the best hostel among all the other hostels we stayed at), went to explore Riga. Temperature there was extremely cold, - 25 degrees. our hands n faces felt numb walking in the cold.

we went to the famous Occupation Museum. and even went to the National Opera House to watch ballet Nutcracker at night. the ticket fare was very cheap and very worth it.

25th morning, took the flight from Riga to London. arrived at London on 25th noon. checked in at the hostel at Northfields. it was late by the time we did so, so we just headed down the road for dinner and to explore the area which had a lot of Indian shops (we assumed it was an Indian area. haha.) finally, had dinner of fish n chips.

the fish n chips was awesome. fresh fish n potatoes with free tartar sauce n tomato sauce.

the owner of the shop was reli nice, she even gave us extra free chips. hehe..

we spent 3 nights in London before our next destination, Edinburgh, Scotland. in London, we joined the tour which consists of the hop on hop off bus tour where we could see the entire London city and its attractions, n walking tours where we witness the changing of guards at Buckingham palace n King James palace.

for our 2nd plate of Fish n Chips, we had it at Sherlock Holmes where we were given a big amount of discount through the tour that we took.

Hey everyone,

sorry that my blog had been abandoned for sometime, or more like quite a long long time. my comp had no internet and it was a bit inconvenient to online at times so i didn't manage to update my blog as well. schedules were hectic as well with major finals as well. anyways, now's the start of a new semester. i've managed to fix internet to my comp now so it's much more convenient now so i hope to update more. my schedule this semester is less hectic too compared to the previous one. i'll update soon on my winter hols to UK. till then, see ya all. a saddening terrible accident..

today, a terrible saddening accident happened at the main road just outside my hostel. it's been the 2nd accident of the month. this time, i only saw the aftermath after getting down from the bus, the dead body. based on our observations of the shoe on the road and the position of the body beside the trailer lorry, there's the possibility that the person was hit and dragged by the huge trailer. the 1st accident happened about a month ago, right in front of my eyes, just 100 meters away, when we were about to cross the road to go for class in the morning.

realizing everything that happened today, i realize sometimes we just tend to take our safety for granted. we take life for granted, sometimes just wasting it and not making full use of it, not living out the purpose for our lives. never take life for granted. never take the blessings of God for granted, even in the aspect of our safety, it's already something that is a tremendous blessing from God.

i've learn so much. i thank God He's always there for me bringing me through everything.

it's control exams season now. the last control exams before the Anatomy and Histology Final Exams in January. wow.. scary! Anatomy kills! still got control exams to clear. time is really essence.

A Memorable 20th Birthday

Firstly and foremost,
i would like to express my thanks and appreciation to everyone for making my 20th birthday, such a memorable one.
thank you so so much for all the surprises, gifts and wishes.
thank you to all my dear friends for planning a memorable birthday i would never forget.

now i shall begin my story of how it all went.
first, it began when the clock struck 12 midnight, marking it's 12th October.
into my room came my batch mates (2nd years, those staying in Kuzmin) and block mates.
they brought in a small cake. it was merely a humble, very small cake cutting ceremony.
and everyone left very quickly, after eating the cake. for me, their expressions all looked very fishy, like as if something else was going to happen next, it was kinda obvious though. haha. but nothing else happened that night.

then during the day, went to class as usual. to me, the day was like every other day, i somehow didn't feel anything special about the day. morning, went for biochemistry class. when i went to the toilet, my group mates ended up telling my biochem teacher, Anton that it was my birthday and when i came back from the toilet and handed him my book to check n sign, he wished me Happy Birthday. i was shocked and stared at everyone.. no one admitted they told him of course. LOL.

then for dinner, we had potluck planned by Gan, Charmaine, Valynne, Chia Zhen, Brandon n Sharon. thank you so much for the wonderful dinner which included the chinese traditional noodles when it's someone's birthday. thank you so so much.. everything was so delicious :)

after the potluck, i did not suspect that there were going to be more surprises coz no one looked fishy anymore, until i accidentally saw one of my presents, a beautifully decorated board filled with birthday messages on it. the incident happened when i opened Sharon's room door after dinner, the other room in the same block as me. coz i saw Jasper's slippers outside my room so the hyper me at that time wanted to kacau so i went to see what Jasper was up to. i opened the door, Sharon who was sitting on her bed, stared at me with her eyes opened wide, i did not notice the board which was on the floor beside her bed yet. her reaction was she immediately took her pillow n watever she had on the bed n threw it on the floor to cover it, her eyes was still staring at me and with a wide smile/laugh on her face, like as if in a shocked state. and when she did that, my eyes diverted to the floor and i saw a bit of it, i laughed, and quickly ran out, still laughing hard. sorry Sharon. haha. n there was it, i just spoiled my own surprise.

then came prayer meeting. after prayer meeting, Marcus tried to bluff me with some reason using May Shi's name, he was trying so hard not to make it so obvious but to me it was very obvious that they were trying to delay my time to return to my room after the meeting coz they were all ready set in my room, ready to surprise me again, this time, the real actual surprise, the best kept to the last. haha. then when i finally went back to my room, i already suspected something fishy was happening, plus the fact that Gan walked me back to the room. i kinda potong steam when i reached back to my block, coz the first thing i did was open the bathroom door, and of course, all the slippers were hidden inside, i laughed quietly (i think that time Gan wanted to kill me for opening the bathroom door). haha. so i smiled and entered my room and low n behold, everyone was there.

i was really touched by everything, although i kinda found out at the end. first, they made me find 9 lighted candles placed around my room, i had to blow them and then i had to light it again. then i made a wish, and cut my real birthday cake this time, it had the big candle 20 on it. then they made me look for the precious gift from my mum with the clue that is was near food. it was actually under my bday cake, they used it to lift the cake up a little, i had not noticed it earlier. i nearly teared when i saw the gift my mum sent through Charmaine at the airport. never did i realize she had planned it from the beginning, it was a lovely diamond platinum chain. thank you so much mum. the card from home was supposed to accompany the present but it hasn't reach, coz i was late in sending the postal address to mum.

next, they showed me my presents, all laid on the bed. the present included the bed. they bought me an air-bed mattress. coz recently my bed had the bed bug problem and before i could do anything about it, they had already changed my mattress for me on my birthday. thank you so much everyone. then they made me climb on my bed and jump 3 times, while Matthew was happily taking video of the entire process.

after that, they gave me the remaining presents: A beautifully decorated board filled with birthday messages, a red rose, perfume with a key chain attached to it, and another soft toy dog (this time this soft toy can talk). haha. after all that, we took photos and ate cake :)

thank you so so much everyone, for everything. it was indeed a really special and memorable surprise. every year, the surprise gets more n more special in its way and i'm really touched by everything.

thank you everyone for making my 20th Birthday such a memorable one.

Trust in Spite of How it Looks

A New Semester..

I'm now officially in 2nd year of medical course.
classes started on 1st September.
so now we're in our 2nd week of classes.
i got Pavel as my Physiology teacher and Anton as my Biochemistry teacher.

And..

Finally,
settled down in a new hostel, a new room.
although there were so many problems and disappointments along the way,
but then in the end,
i realized God was in control of the whole situation.
i really thank God for everything.

Currently, I'm staying in Kuzmin hostel.
it's a really nice place,
newly renovated so the rooms are all very nice,
and even more nicer after we clean up and decorated it the way we like.
The only thing bad is that the price of the hostel,
and the traffic jams in the morning.
so every morning we have to leave latest at 7.30am for classes.

So here's my new room.
my roommate is Saac (my godsis) and block mates are Shoba (3rd yr) and Sharon (2nd yr).
each unit has 2 rooms, 2 ppl per room.
really happy with to be able to settle down in this nice room with awesome block mates.

i'm back in Moscow,

back to the land of obstacles.

the one conclusion i have made so far is,

Mos-Lanka company = Money Laundering company

gives me more headache than ever.

i wish someone could teach them a lesson,

once and for all..

currently,

for those of us who don't have a permanent hostel,

we're without a hostel now

and we're all putting up in our seniors place in different hostels.

we'll only be able to move into our temporary hostels on 31st August..

which is the day before our term starts.

it's back to the challenges ahead.

Missions trip in Chennai, India (3-13 August)

Overall, one word to describe the missions trip, “awesome”. Now, even as write this on the bus journey back to Ipoh from LCCT KL, i feel sad. I really miss the trip. I miss everyone in the team n everyone there in Chennai whom we had worked with. I really really miss it so much. How i wish it was longer n time didn’t fly so fast. I miss everyone so much, from the team members: Andrew, Joo Ann, Li Via, Tracy, Prem, Chew, Matthew; and Pastor’s family: Pastor Kumar, Jessie, Jeanette, Jayden; and Harvest Apostolic Ministries staff (the church we worked with): Stanley, Nisha, Ammi, Francis, Vimal, Rajan, Shobana, Sophia, Murthi, Stella, Samson, etc.

It was indeed a meaningful missions trip, and we learnt so much. We went there, to bless n serve others, but in the end, i think we were the ones really bless by an experience of a lifetime i will never forget n will always cherish deep in my heart. India has taught so much, how fortunate we are n how ungrateful we have been at times when we complain. Even as we visited homes in Chennai, going for door knockings, ministering to the people living in the slump areas, it was indeed an eye-opener for all of us. The people lived in poverty, slump houses so small, never had we imagined. But yet, the people were so warm n pure. They invited us into their humble homes, and ask us to pray for them. One particular one i remembered was an old lady, who said that i was like her own daughter when i hugged her, laid hands on her n prayed for her, she had a mild heart attack recently. Never had i imagined that there were such warm people in this world, even when they didn’t know you at all, n you’re a total stranger to them, yet, they warmly welcome you with open hands. The joy i felt, i was really touched by everything i saw.

The kids at the House of Hope really touch my heart too. 22 kids altogether. It made me think, do we know the real joy? These kids made me realize the real joy one should have. They were just simple kids, orphans, yet, their joy when they played with us showed no sign of the misery they had when they were affected by the tsunami years ago. I call it, the pure joy. These kids, just by playing simple games with the sharpener n text book, singing songs to us, playing aeroplane with us, these things they did that we would have thought it would be all boring, the kids found joy n laughter.. it really moved my heart to i realize how unjoyful I am at times even when i had so much..

Besides that, we also did street corner evangelistic outreach. It was our first time. And when i say street corner, it’s really a street corner, no joke. We had no idea how it would be like, the only thing we could do, was to trust n have faith in God to do everything. We performed a skit, with our hero actor Chew as the main character, Kupen, and the rest of us played the other characters. We sang songs n Andrew shared the message. During the altar call, so many people came up for prayer. We had different kinds of prayer needs, from health to family issues, and even studies. Indeed, God is great. We shed tears even as we laid hands on the people, and prayed for them, and we could feel the presence of God very strong. You know, there are so many people out there, waiting for hope in their lives, waiting for a touch from God. It really hit me hard, to realize the real world we’re living in, people everywhere are desperately in need, sometimes, we just think about ourselves n only know how to take things for granted.

We also went to cell group meetings. It was held in the humble homes of the people in the slump areas. Everyone will just sit closely together in a small area of the house. I really enjoyed it personally n i would say, i’ve never felt God’s presence so strong in a cell group meeting before. I could feel the passion the people there had for God, the togetherness n unity. And again, an old lady there made me feel the joy n warmth. She was sitting beside me, and she kept holding my hand from the moment i held hers when we started praying after the sharing. She held on to my hand right up to the moment we were to leave, and she gave me a kiss on the cheek.

We also conducted 4 sessions of medical camp throughout the missions trip with our leader, Dr Joo Ann. Dr Joo Ann, Andrew, Chew, Li Via n Prem did the consultations, i did the dressing n cleaning of wounds, while Tracy n Matthew carried out the dispensing of medicines, which include simple drugs, vitamins, pain killers, albendazole (de-worming medicine), paracetamol, anti-fungal cream, etc. When no one needed dressing, i helped out in the dispensing of medicines n also observed the consultations. In total we had 700 patients.

Not only did we do outreach n medical, we also went sight-seeing n shopping. Sight-seeing was on Joo Ann’s birthday which was on the 10th August. Ammi took us to a place where they had huge rocks which carvings. And there was an ancient temple there too. Nice place, but was really sunny n hot, i got sunburn. We had lotsa fun, climbing those rocks, taking photos, lotsa lame ones too. There, we bought some souvenirs too. Most of them were made of marble n rocks. and we had a BBQ too to celebrate Joo Ann’s birthday, held on the rooftop of Pastor’s house. Throughout the missions trip, we stayed at Pastor’s home. thanks so much to Vimal, Stanley, Francis n Pastor Jessie for the lovely BBQ. Joo Ann received a marble model of Taj Mahal n a specially designed mug with her photo imprinted on it as a present. Poor Joo Ann badly wanted to go to Taj Mahal, n so did all of us, but Taj Mahal is in New Delhi, very far away.

For shopping, we girls bought Punjabi suits n sarees, bangles. The guys bought Jeepa n they also tailor-made specially designed formal top recommended by Pastor Kumar. In India, tailoring is cheap, the clothes are cheap. Silver too is cheap. I bought a silver chain n pendent for RM20+.

On the last day of our ministry in India, which was the day before we left Chennai, evening, we attended the Miracle Evening Healing Meeting at Harvest Christian Assembly. That night, was an experience of a lifetime. God’s presence was so strong in that place till we could feel it. So many people came up for healing. And even there were people possessed by witchcraft. Even as we laid hands on them n prayed for them, tears just won’t stop flowing, we felt the Holy Spirit so strong that people started shaking n falling.. by faith, in Jesus Name, we know they are healed. Amen.

After the meeting, Pastor Kumar took us out for a wonderful dinner treat of seafood by the beach. We had sotong, shrimps, fish.. it was awesome. We could see the moonlight line on the sea water.. so beautiful. somehow, we ended up playing the game truth or dare, very dangerous game i would say. Then Pastor took us for an ice-cream treat. Baby Jayden love ice-cream so much n he kept wanting more n more ice-cream. Jayden’s only 8 months old, and he’s a super duper cute adorable baby who loves people very much n he loves to be carried, if not he will cry. Cute right? That night was indeed an awesome night, and that was our last night in Chennai.

On Wednesday night, 12th August, after a wonderful dinner treat with Pastor Kumar n Jessie n Stanley, Francis, Vimal, Ammi, it was finally time to say goodbye. We were nearly in tears as we bid goodbye n headed to the train station to catch the train back to Tiruchirapalli to catch the flight back. The train journey took about 6-7 hours. That was how we got to Chennai from Tiruchirapalli, because AirAsia only flies to Tiruchirapalli. Francis was with us throughout the journey to Chennai from Tiruchirapalli n from Chennai back to Tiruchirapalli. Thanks a lot Francis, for everything. The train ride was indeed an experience of a lifetime.

Looking back at photos n memories, i really miss the missions trip so much. I’ve learnt so much.. I would say, I learn more n was bless more than what we had bless others with.

Thank you Pastor Kumar, Jessie, Jeanette, Jayden for opening your lovely home for us to stay. I truly enjoyed every moment. Thank you Pastor for taking time off to care for our needs n arrange everything for us. Thank you Stanley, Ammi, Francis, Vimal. Thank you for the lovely amazing awesome car rides, for bringing us everywhere we needed to go. Thank you for the lovely meals you guys cook, seriously, it was all so awesome n delicious, thumbs up. Thank you to all the staff of Harvest Apostolic Ministries, thank you for all your hard work in preparing the place of ministry for us, for setting up the camps, for translating, for being there for us. We are truly blessed by everything you all have done for us. And we really learn so much. Thank you team Shanti-Shanti, for all the endless jokes n laughter n fun we had together as a team. You guys are the best. Thank you so much for everything, for all your hard work n dedication. I’ll miss you all so much.. in fact, i already do now.

Monday is my flight to India,

WMSI Dedication Dinner

last night, Saturday, was the longest dinner i went to. it lasted 4 hours from 7pm till 11pm. it was the Wesley Methodist School Ipoh Dedication dinner. but food only started to come at around 8.15pm. before that, they had speeches n stuffs.

met lotsa ppl there. godbro came back. saw my ex-school principal n PK HEM, Pn Siva and Pn Cheah. they were in the same table as godbro. met Fiona Ding too. there were like a total of 1000 plus ppl at the dinner. it's a fundraising dinner for WMSI actually.

meet Soon Ying..

Soon Ying came down to Ipoh last Wed night n she went back to KL today morning. so was able to meet up with her at JJ yesterday. it's been ages since we last met. a year ago. we have never failed to meet up every year despite the fact that we're miles apart. she's always been my bestie, a friend i really trust.

so we met at JJ at 2.30pm. kor kor followed too :) headed for a movie at 3pm.
we watched The Taking of Pelham 123. it's an 18PL action movie. i enjoyed it. to me, it's kinda hearttaking beneath all the violence. it's worth watching..

poor us felt cold inside the cinema, esp Soon Ying. haha. n the large popcorn we bought to share, 3 ppl also couldn't finish it. in the end, i tried to eat but was too full, my appetite all gone also coz my stomach was all filled with popcorn. it's like u can feel the popcorn inside, haha, nah, i'm over exaggerating. LOL.

after movie, first stop was of course, the toilet. haha. then we walked around JJ for a while then went to Black Canyon for a drink. i notice, from all my outings to JJ, i always never fail to end up in Black Canyon. haha. but the food there's good, i like Black Canyon food.

my missions trip to India is coming up in a weeks time.. so kinda busy now, preparing n stuff. i feel the excitement, but at the same time, i dunno why, i feel scared, like dunno what to expect. but it's ok. i know the Lord who is my Strength is with me and will never leave me. so i'm fine :) Hehe. i'll be looking forward to it. will leave to KL on 31st July n will fly off to India on 3rd August. safe journey to the China Missions team who just left for China today.

went to meet my teacher, Pn Murizan today for lunch. she's my closest teacher, back in secondary school when i was actively involved in the Librarian Board n became the AVA (Audio Visual Aids) Head. she's one of the librarian teachers n she's the AVA Teacher so that's how i got close to her. she teaches History n Moral real well, one of the best dedicated caring teachers i've met throughout my entire school years. but too bad, she got transfered to another school, although she tried her very best to object. what a pity.. after she got transfered, i never went back to school to hang out in the library the whole morning like how i once did. miss those days..

well, i never fail to meet her every summer hols. hehe. so, me, Kuen May n Benita met her for lunch today at Laksamana Cheng Ho at Greentown area.

after lunch, went back to school for visit. but then, everyone left school d, left only the afternoon session ppl. so just took a quick peak at the library. it's has changed again. like every year i go back to visit once, there's sure to be a change there. haha. then went to say Hi to Mrs. Lee too, the current principal which happens to be my Aunt. LOL.

yesterday, 7am, went to Maybank which was right beside ASNB. for what? to line up to buy ASM shares. actually, this is not my first time experiencing this. i experienced it with my mum a few years ago on the day i took my SPM results.
dad told me n kor kor to go and open an account n put in money for both of us n at the same time, top up for my mum n younger bros account as well. so, we went. got up early in the morning. n when we reach there, there was ady a line of ppl waiting at Maybank, and ASNB beside Maybank, was ady full with ppl waiting inside n outside. oh my goodness.. we line up at Maybank, the line was much much shorter, they wrote our names down which they will call later at 9.15am when the bank opens, our names were on the 1st page itself, thank God.

so we managed to get all done at around 11am. lucky the shares have not run out yet. you can say, it wasn't much of an inconvenience compared to the last round.

well, i guess, the reason why ppl rush n get up early to fight for it is coz of the 6% interest per year compared to the bank's 2% for a fix deposit account. no wonder the crowd of ppl. it was kinda an experience waiting there. i saw the ppl's excitement. and a granny caught my attention. her hair was all white except for a few strands of brown n black hair. you can say she's old but she so energetic. she's like the most excited person among the entire crowd, chatting away with other ppl talking about the ASM. even right up to the time her name was called to settle wat she needed to and even after that, she was happily going for one person to another talking about the excitement of ASM, from what i observed, it seemed to be her new made friends there.

well.. it was an experience.

after all that done, had to settle my vaccinations to go India. so went GH Ipoh. went to enquire. they ask me to go another outpatient clinic there to ask, n the outpatient clinic asked me to go to Jelapang Clinic. so i literally went to 3 healthcare centres. finally got my Typhoid injection there for RM20 n the Malaria prescription of doxycycline for free. hehe. thanks to a nice Malay guy at the Survelan Department who helped. now left the prescription for Mefloquine which i'm yet to ask Dr Lai. and maybe might need to take the Tetanus-diphtheria if he advice me to do so too.

Holiday Updates #3

it's been a month since i came back. time really flies. it seems like yesterday i only reached home. and it's been ady a month. arggh. so don't wanna leave so fast..

last Friday nite, 17th July, was ACS CF High Praise. both my younger bros were playing electric guitar for that event, so kor kor n me went to support. somehow, i felt out of place, all those school kids, though some of them were lower 6 which mean they're only a year younger, but still, i felt kinda weird. HAHA.

anyways, yay, Yue-Yi n Wei-An came to Ipoh for a visit. Yue-Yi's back from US n Wei-An from Singapore. haven't met them for soooo long, since they left our church. so, got to met them on Friday nite after the High Praise. Hsien Han, Lip Hyean n Lip Ee's back too. but they're going back today to Aussie, so met them for one last time for supper last nite.

Sunday, 19th July, today's the Sunday School Family Day. so the kids and their family had a fun time of games. so we youth, helped out. i was in charged of a game called 'Every Drop' together with Jonathan, where they had to fill the bottle with water from sponge. haha. sounds easy huh? but it's not that easy, the water flows somewhere else n the bottle mouth is small. haha. after the games ended, as usual, it always end with a finale of we youth playing with the left over water. so we threw water on each other. ended up wet. thanks to sis who was the first to pour water on me. haha. oh, and i broke my slipper in the process of chasing after ppl with the water. haha. so ended up borrowing slippers from Irene. thanks dear. haha. i love fun times like these. miss them so much when i'm away in Moscow.

lunch was provided at church, so after lunch, we headed out for dessert. a whole bunch of us. went to Repulse Bay at Greentown there.

after dessert, the excited bunch of guys wanted to go CyberCafe, so we carted along since we had to go back in their cars too. haha. so i ended up playing CounterStrike, for the FIRST time. haha. beginning, started out really cacat, but after a while practicing, managed to kill more n more ppl, which include my bros n the guys who kept killing me at the start. hahaa. LOL. we played till 4 sumthing. poor Yue-Yi felt pening halfway n couldn't play much. anyways, really glad to spend time with them.

Penang.. Family weekend away..

was in Penang on Sat n Sun. so happen, Brandon was there too, but didn't meet him there. went there for a family weekend away, thank God we could have a holiday together coz all the other weekends are all filled with activities.

Day 1

reach Penang, went for lunch. bro brought us to one of the famous char kuey teow. waited sooo long for it, an hour plus at least, proven la famous. and i was shock at the price, RM6.50 per plate. sooo mahal. conclusion*: Penang food is expensive! HAHA. besides char kuey teow, we had fried oyster egg, ice kacang, otak-otak for starters.. the char kuey teow was ok for me, to me, there's nothing so great about it that i have to wait an hour more for it. Ipoh's one is yummy too. LOL.

after lunch, went to Queensbay. it's the latest mall in Penang, crowded with ppl. went SHOPPING. whee.. MegaSale everywhere. and the sale there was CRAZY. so many stuff on sale, discounts up to 70%. so ended up buying 3 shirts and a black top. all discounted. haha. helped my bros choose jeans. whole family shopped for clothes. was quite tired after that also, walked too much. Queensbay's big.

6pm, left the mall. went to meet Qu Wern. we put up the night at his grandpa's house. super nice n comfy house. thanks lots Qu Wern. it was great to see u again. haha. dinner, Qu Wern brought us to a chinese restaurant. had an amazing dinner. thank you daddy.

after dinner, was suppose to go to Feringgi Beach pasar malam, but unfortunately it was raining heavily. it was raining heavily since before dinner. so, plan kinda spoiled. so we just went back n watch astro n chit chat. haha. slept at 2.45am.

Day 2

went to Penang Wesley for church service. met Wei-An and Yue Yi. it's been ages since i last saw them, like 4 years ago since they left our church. next, headed to Balik Pulau to eat durian!! haha. took a long drive there coz it's far. Balik Pulau is actually a hilly area. stopped by one of the stalls to have durian. the person recommended 2 types of durian: Amy Yip and Red Prawn.

after durian, went to Batu Ferringgi Beach. wanted to go for jet ski, but sea was too rough, not advisable to do so, so in the end tak jadi again. sad case right.. but nvm, went there enjoy the beach wind.. and watch those huge waves.. they're really huge, as tall as a person. went shop for beach pants too.. LOL.

after spending quite some time chilling by the beach, went to Gurney Plaza. went for a light lunch at 3pm, coz that time our stomachs still kinda full with the durian. haha. daddy took us chili's to eat, for the first time.

after lunch, walk a bit in Gurney Plaza then headed back to Ipoh..

on the highway, almost reaching the tunnel part, the car overheated. we thought the pipe or something burst, coz we tried adding water but the water we added somehow seemed like it flowed out coz there was literally water draining out unto the road. scary experience to be stranded by the highway. called the mechanics and the insurance company, wanted to arrange for a tow truck to tow the car back. the position our car was just beside the road like that was so dangerous. we remembered the incident that happened to someone we know years ago. prayer was all we could do.

we waited... PLUS came along the way. they tried adding water. then dunno how the PLUS guy said it was ok ady. there was enough water. so we started the enjine and checked the temperature. it was back to normal, seemed like there wasn't anymore water draining out anymore, so we continued our journey back... car was ok throughout the journey. really thank God for the safe journey..

yesterday, went KL for a day trip. took the 9am train down. then went straight to MidValley for missions meeting with the rest of the team members. went to Nando's for lunch and have the meeting at the same time. it was great to get to see all of them :)

at MidValley, bro managed to get his adapter from Machines for his MacBook. the shop's so cool, selling all the Apple stuff. i love Apple stuff, i love their design esp. haha. then went kacau Sherrie working as a promoter promoting P1 W1max. haha.

then went Kelana Jaya station to meet Kenny. he picked us up from there to go makan. haha. all the way along the journey to Puchong, chatted, kacau each other, take random photos. LOL.

today, manage to grab a quickie opportunity to hang out with dear sis, Judith and also with Jonathan (Ju's bro) n Ray and my brothers too. whee. first, headed for dinner at Woolley's with her family and mine too. then we kids went Jusco while our parents went for the wake service of one of our church member's brother.

at Woolley, there were loads of good food. Ray was so excited eating the Unagi set which cost him RM11. he said it was like so cheap compared to KL. haha. well, i don't deny the fact it's cheaper than KL. he's Jonathan's friend at IMU, he's from Kuching and he's down in Ipoh for visit.

i had char kuey teow. my bro n i like the char kuey teow at Woolley.

after dinner, headed to Jusco. went shopping of course. haha. Ju bought wat she needed. went hunting for the scarfs but couldn't find. i'll promise i'll help u find k Ju. hehe. we were just literally lepaking. waiting for Ray to buy his stuff. half the time hunting for Jonathan n my twin bros who kept on went missing suddenly. LOL.
